Mission and Promise

Our mission is to service churches, ministries, and non-profits with great software at a low price and most importantly — with exceptional customer service. Most of our staff work in ministry part-time so they have a good feeling for what your life is like. We're not doing this to make millions, but rather to make it easier for you to do ministry.

Because our mission is to help you do ministry, we will never share any of the member information you enter into our system. That information is yours, not ours. We protect that information with the utmost of security and privacy. In fact, even when working on a customer support call, our staff are not allowed to modify your data. We can teach you how to do it, but our policy is to never modify your information ourselves. Your member information is protected and will never be used for marketing or promotion or sold to any other company.

Registration Information

When you register with MinistryTracker.com, we ask you for personal information. We use this information to process your subscription and to communicate with you about the status of your subscription. We may also use your email address to send you service announcements, promotional announcements, and customer service surveys. We believe the best promotion is word of mouth, not spam email. So we'll keep your inbox clean if you put in a good word for us. In the event that we do send email to you, you may reply at any time and we will remove your email from our email list. We will never share your personal information with a third party.

Collection and Use of Subscription Information

When you first subscribe to MinistryTracker.com, we ask for your email address, a username, a password, your full name, physical address, billing address, organization name, telephone number and credit card number so we can process your subscription. We use your telephone number only if there is an subscription-related issue, not for marketing purposes. You must certify that you are at least 18 years old in order to subscribe to MinistryTracker.com services. (People under 18 can use MinistryTracker.com's services but not subscribe to them -- allowing them to record their attendance via the Student Sign-in system only.) Our server stores this information so that placing future subscription orders will be quicker and easier. If you want to update your address or change credit cards, go to Your Account and make the appropriate changes. You must be signed in to access Your Account. Your phone number may also be used by MinistryTracker.com Customer Support to inquire about our service and in the normal process of answering a customer support request.

We also track your order and billing history so you can display subscription status and past history.

Collection and Use of Member Information

MinistryTracker.com provides you the ability to store information about the members, staff, and families associated with your organization. This information includes but is not limited to a members's full name, phone number, address, email address, date of birth, gender, etc. MinistryTracker.com closely guards all information that you store in our system related to your students, staff, and families. We do not distribute this information to anyone. MinistryTracker.com will not use this information for any purpose except the storage and retrival of this information that is necessary to maintain your service. MinistryTracker.com employees will only access member information in the process of conducting a customer service request, backing up, restoring, or otherwise maintaining the data for continued service. Our commitment of service includes the highest level of security and protection of your student information.

Viewing and Updating Your Information

You can always access the personal information you have provided to MinistryTracker.com by going to Your Account. You can make changes to this information to update your account anytime.

Cookies

As you browse the MinistryTracker.com site, cookies are placed on your computer's hard drive or in your computer's memory. (Cookies are small pieces of data that are sent to your browser from a Web server and stored on your hard drive or in memory.) Cookies allow us to track the items you are currently viewing or editing and provide additional advanced features.

If your browser is set to not accept cookies, you will not be able to use the MinistryTracker.com site or service.

We may also use cookies to gather usage information, such as the number and frequency of visitors to our site and its various pages.

Disclosure

Except as described in this section, we will not sell, rent or disclose your personally identifying information to third parties without notifying you of our intent to share the information and giving you an opportunity to prevent your information from being shared.

We occasionally use other companies, agents or contractors to perform services necessary to our operations. For example, we have partnered with other companies to process credit card transactions, analyze customers' interaction with our site to improve our service and process customer service surveys. In the course of providing such services, these companies may have contact with your personally identifying information. By contractual agreement, these companies must treat your information in accordance with this Policy. We will not be liable for any damages that may result from the misuse of your personal information by these companies.

Any exceptions to this policy of sharing your name, address or email address with a partner company will be done only with your permission. MinistryTracker.com also reserves the right to disclose information when required by law.

We also provide analyses of our ministry users (Not members) in aggregate (non-identifying form) to prospective partners, advertisers and other third parties. We do this so that we and our advertisers can understand you better, and so we can keep bringing you first-rate services. We may also disclose, on an anonymous basis, literal statements made by our customers. At no time, however, will we disclose personal information about specific users.

Security and Access

For transmitting your personal and member information to us, we use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL), which encrypts all of your information as it passes between your computer and our servers. This encryption process ensures that the information you give us is protected against unauthorized access.

You can access Your Account from every page on the site to update and correct your name, email address, password, postal address, and credit card preferences. Please note that you must be signed in to MinistryTracker.com to access this information.

We have implemented technology and security features, as well as strict internal guidelines, to safeguard the privacy of your personal information from unauthorized access or improper use. We will continue to enhance our security procedures as new technology becomes available. While we make every effort to ensure that your information is secure on our system, no data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. As a result, we cannot guarantee the security of any information you transmit to us, and you do so at your own risk.
